These terms govern your use of getsecondstep.com, the Second Step agency service, and the software tools published under Second Step Labs. They are written in plain English on purpose. Where a signed proposal, statement of work or order form exists between us, that document wins over these terms if the two disagree.
Who you are contracting with. Shivendra Rawat, a sole proprietor trading as Second Step, based in Delhi NCR, India. GSTIN 09BPXPR0474L1ZW. Our registered address is available on request. Contact: [email protected].
Effective date. 8 September 2026. Version 1.0.
1. The website
You may read and link to anything on this site. You may not scrape it at scale, republish our case studies or research as your own, or use our client names and logos. Our content is offered as information, not advice specific to your business. Prices shown are indicative until confirmed in a proposal.
2. The free audit
The Attribution Leak Audit is free and offered to businesses that run paid advertising, not to agencies evaluating a competitor. You grant us read-only access for the duration of the audit and we revoke it when the report is delivered. The report is our opinion based on the data available to us. We do not promise a particular finding. We may decline an audit request without giving a reason.
3. Agency services
Agency work is scoped in a written proposal that states deliverables, fees, currency, billing cycle and notice period. Unless the proposal says otherwise: fees are billed monthly in advance or in arrears as stated on the invoice, payable within 15 days; either side may end a monthly engagement with 30 days' written notice; you own the accounts, data and creative produced for you once invoices are paid; we keep the right to describe the work in anonymised form as a case study unless you tell us in writing not to. Advertising spend is paid by you directly to the platforms and is never routed through us. We do not guarantee a specific return, ranking or cost per lead, because platforms and markets change in ways neither of us control.
4. Labs tools: your account
You must be 18 or older and authorised to connect the accounts you connect. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for what happens under it. One account is for one business unless your plan says otherwise. We may suspend an account that we reasonably believe is compromised or is being used in breach of these terms, and we will tell you why.
5. Labs tools: acceptable use
You may use the tools to analyse and report on accounts you own or are authorised to manage. You may not: resell, sublicense or share access; use the tools to collect data about accounts you have no right to see; attempt to extract our models, prompts or source code; reverse engineer the service; or use output to train a competing product. You may not use the Ads Gateway to make automated changes to a Google Ads account unless a specific tool explicitly offers that and you have accepted its additional terms.
6. Labs tools: data
Our Privacy Policy explains what we read, store and delete. In short, you keep ownership of your data; you give us a licence to process it to provide the service; we do not sell it and do not train models on Google or Meta user data. When you disconnect, we delete on the schedule in the Privacy Policy.
7. Labs tools: fees, trials and cancellation
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance, in the currency shown at checkout, and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time from your account or by email, and the plan runs to the end of the paid period. Free tiers, betas and waitlist access may change or end at any time. We may change prices with 30 days' notice; the change applies from your next renewal. Taxes such as GST are added where the law requires.
8. Availability and support
We aim for the tools to be available at all times but do not promise uninterrupted service. Betas are provided as-is. Support is by email during Indian business hours, with best-effort response within one working day. Platform APIs (Google, Meta, property-management systems) may change or fail, and features that depend on them may be affected without notice from us.
9. Intellectual property
We own the tools, our models, our research and this website. You own your data and the reports generated from it. Feedback you send us may be used to improve the service without obligation to you.
10. Disclaimers and limits of liability
To the extent the law allows, the website and the tools are provided without warranties of any kind, and our total liability to you for any claim arising from the website, the audit or a Labs tool is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. For agency services the limit is the fees paid under the relevant proposal. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, or for advertising spend. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Indemnity
You will cover us for claims that arise from your breach of these terms, from content you supply, or from your use of the tools on accounts you were not authorised to connect.
12. Ending these terms
You may stop using the website or a tool at any time. We may end or suspend your access if you breach these terms and do not fix the breach within 14 days of notice, or immediately if the breach is serious. Sections 9 to 13 survive.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be brought in the courts of New Delhi, and either side may seek urgent relief in any competent court. Before either side goes to court, we agree to try to resolve the matter by discussion for 30 days.
14. Changes
We may update these terms. We will post the new version with a new effective date, and email tool users about material changes at least 14 days before they apply. Continued use after that date is acceptance.
